These old European firms create an entire bed by hand, from mattress to the frame and custom headboard, with hundreds of hours of artisanal labor, using generational skill. Each spring is tensioned to a specification, and nested separately so that it compresses and rebounds in near-isolation from every other spring. The comfort is legendary.
